about the nature, the extent and the scope of the collection and usage of personal data on this website (within the following “website“).

The relevant legal basics of data protection are to be found in the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Tele Media Act (TMG).

Access Data/ Server Log Files
The provider (or their web space provider) collects data when the user is accessing the website (so-called server log files). The access data includes the following:
Name of the website that was accessed, data file, date and time of access, data volume transferred, report on successful access, web browser along with version, user’s operating system, referrer URL (previously accessed web page), IP address and requested provider.
The supplier uses the log files for statistical evaluation for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the website. The supplier reserves the right to subsequently review the log files, if on the basis of tangible evidence, unlawful use is suspected.

Processing of Personal Data
Personal data is information with which a person is identifiable and therefore, if traced back, can reveal the person’s identity. This includes the name, email address or telephone number. Even data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were accessed count as personal data.
That is why the personal data is only collected, used and shared by the supplier if permissible by law, or the user has consented to the data collection.

Contact with the Supplier
In case the user is seeking contact with the supplier (e.g. by filling out a contact form or sending an email) the user’s personal data will be saved electronically for the further processing of the inquiry or additional questions that may arise.

Involvement of Services and Contents of Third Parties
Contents of third parties, such as YouTube videos, maps by Google, RSS feeds or graphics of other web pages may be integrated within the website. In such cases it is always assumed that the supplier of these media contents (hereafter referred to “third party“) used the user’s IP address. Without the IP address, it would be impossible to send the contents to the appropriate user’s web browser. The IP address is therefore necessary for displaying the contents. We make every attempt to only use media provided by third parties that solely use the IP addresses for the delivery of the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third party suppliers save the IP address for statistical purpose or such. If this is the case and we are aware of it, then we will notify our users.

Cookies are little data files that allow to electronically save specific device related information onto the user’s access device (PC, smart phone or such). They mainly serve the purpose to enhance the user friendliness of websites and thus they serve the user directly (e.g. recording of log in dates). On the other hand they contribute to the collection of statistical data regarding the website usage to analyse it and thus improve the website. The user has control of the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to limit or completely block the storage/installation of cookies. It should, however, be noted that it might have consequences regarding the usage of the website, if the cookies are deactivated.

Many cookies from companies‘ online advertisements can be managed through the US website or the EU website

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service by Google Inc. („Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies“, text files, which are stored on the user‘s computer, and which allow an analysis of the website usage. The information concerning your use of the website generated by the cookie will generally be passed on and saved to a Google server in the US.

In case of activation of the IP anonymization on this website, the user‘s IP address will be shortened by Google within the EU Member States or any other State being a party of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. It is only in exceptional cases that the whole IP address is passed on to a Google server in the US and shortened there. IP anonymization is activated on this website. Google will use this information on behalf of the website’s operator in order to evaluate the website usage by the user, to compile reports about the website activities and to provide further services in connection with web site usage and internet usage.

Google Analytics will not associate the IP address transferred by your browser with any other Google data. The user can prevent the installation of Cookies by means of a respective setting of his/her browser software; however, the provider points out that, if the user utilises this setting, he/she might not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore, the user can prevent Google‘s collection and processing of the information generated by the Cookie about your use of this website by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link:
